The Cameroonian Urological Society (SCUR), in collaboration with the Pan-African Urological Surgeons Association (PAUSA), is pleased to announce the 2nd International Congress of SCUR and the Central Africa Urology Days (JUAC-PAUSA). This landmark event will take place in Douala, Cameroon from September 25 to 27, 2025, preceded by a two-day pre-congress workshop (September 22–23) and a social day of relaxation on September 24.
We warmly invite all urologists and allied specialists, both from Cameroon and abroad, to join us in this important scientific and professional gathering.
Following the legacy of the former Cameroonian Society of Uro-Nephrology (SCUN), the SCUR was officially established in 2008, and since then, has actively contributed to the advancement of urology and modern surgical practice in Cameroon and the Central African subregion. Its impact now extends across Africa and internationally.
After the great success of its inaugural congress in 2022, SCUR is proud to relaunch this experience with even greater ambition and broader participation.
This year’s congress will feature an enriching scientific and social program, celebrating progress in the field of urology in Cameroon and across the continent. We will host a lineup of renowned international speakers and encourage participation from urologists across Africa and beyond.
The scientific program will include two days of high-impact pre-congress workshops and three days of diverse sessions, panel discussions, and masterclasses covering key topics such as:
Masterclass on Endoscopic Management of Urolithiasis
Innovative Treatments for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): including vaporization and laser therapies
Minimally Invasive Surgery in Urology: Endourology and laparoscopy techniques
Andrology: Penile implant placement, management of male infertility
Pelvic Floor Surgery: Sling procedures and artificial urinary sphincters
Recent Advances in African Onco-Urology
The event will also include a curated program of social activities, providing opportunities to relax, network, and experience the vibrant culture of Douala.
Join us as we celebrate innovation, excellence, and collaboration in urology across Africa.
